Why We Deny Our Magnificence

What I deny about myself, I must have known to be true about myself.

I am currently reading A Course in Miracles and doing the workbook. During one of my study sessions I came across this line in the course:

"What you deny you must have once known. And if you accept denial, you can accept its undoing".

I had to re-read the line a few times because it moved something within me (you'll witness in the video below). It helped me to realize that what I deny about myself, I must have known to be true about myself. With that realization I began to question my belief system about who I think I am. Here are my thoughts on paper:

We can only deny our magnificence when we already know ourselves to be magnificent.

Now with this understanding how can I apply this into my life? I can begin by seeing and experiencing myself in a new way, the way God knows me. God knows me to be like him. God knows me as whole and complete. When I can begin to know myself as whole and complete I have accepted my God Self. Anytime you are fighting with littleness or buying into the Ego's tiny mad idea of you, ask yourself: How does God see me and right now am I seeing myself as God sees me? Then from there, take the action.

Share with me your thoughts, how have you been denying your magnificence?
